Hosting Account Setup and Cancellations

Q. How long does it take to setup my account?

A. Your account should be up and running within two business days of received payment.

Q. Are there any hidden costs, or setup fees?

A. No. However, if you purchase your own SSL certificate elsewhere and would like us to install it, there is a $50 fee.

Q. How do I close my account?

A. If you wish to close your account simply email us indicating that you wish to cancel. You must also include "I give you permission to delete my website and all its content." We may need to send you a confirmation email to verify. In some circumstances, we may want to confirm by phone, mail or in person.


Domain Name Registrations

Q. How long does it take to register a domain?

A. We can only initiate the domain registration process after receiving your payment. After that, it may take anywhere from immediately to several days, depending on a number of factors including the TLD chosen, information you provide for domain registration purposes and such. We can not guarantee that your domain will be available when we initiate the process. Moreover, we cannot guarantee that your registration will succeed. Finally, there are no refunds for typos and mistakes. To save money, speed things up and increase chances of successful registration, doublecheck all information you provide for typos and consider paying immediately with etransfer, PayPal or credit card through PayPal.

Q. Can I get a refund for domain registration if I make a mistake or a typo?

A. We are an Enom, Gandi SAS/US and Webnames.ca reseller and are unable to offer refunds for mistakes or typos. Be sure to doublecheck everything before you order and read any confirmation emails very carefully. All domain name registration sales are final.


Payments, Billing Cycles, and Taxes

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?

A. We accept cheques, money orders, etransfers, all major credit cards through PayPal, registered cheques, and if in person, cash.

Q. Can I pay monthly?

A. To save time, money and paper, we offer quarterly, semi-annual and annual billing cycles, you can pay every three months, every six months or once a year depending on the package. Please see our for details.

Q. Is tax included in the price of my plan?

A. We are based in Ontario and serve local clients so we are now required to add HST on invoices for all goods and services.

Q. How do I make a payment?

A. You will receive an email invoice. Send us a cheque, etransfer, or pay by PayPal using your credit card or your PayPal account. Make the cheques payable to DIGIBEE.NET.

Q. How long does it take to get my domain working?

A. It usually takes 24-48 hours for a domain to fully propagate.


Content / AUP (Acceptable Use Policy)

Q. Do you allow adult sites?

A. No. We are a small home-based operation. Our children look at our monitors as we work. We do not allow adult sites. You may want to have a closer look at our TOS.

Q. Do you allow...?

A. Have a look at our hosting Term of Service, especially #2 or Content, which briefly describes our Acceptable Use Policy.


SSL

Q. How do I purchase a private SSL from you and what type is it?

A. Most of our web design clients buy RapidSSL by DigiCert but we are able to provide other certificates. Have a look at the hosting plan comparison chart for RapidSSS pricing and email us when ready.
